Back from London and Barcelona Trip
Just returned 3 days ago from an incredible trip with the best companion, travel agent, and historian:
and if I can get this interface to stop bolding the text in blue; I will continue with this entry.
We started with 3 days in London visiting the site of the oldest Templar church in England and other sites around the old city of Londinium and then went on to Barcelona and the state of Catalunia in Spain for the rest of the trip visiting the Barri Gotic in Barcelona or Barcino as the Romans called it. After that we spent two days driving around in the countryside visiting Templar holdings in Peniscola and Miravet; the last holdout of the Templars in Spain.
What an amazing experience travel is. I never get over the fascination with place. It is so vital to understanding people and the events around them. Plus, you get an entire new perspective on your own place.
