The light is constantly shifting as the sun moves toward sunset and the procession of thundershowers advances towards me. The wind is about 20 to 30 miles per hour. The next day it will add hail to the mix of rain, snow and sun.

Sun at Last! For a while at least. About 15 inches in the last 2 days, mixed in with freezing rain!
Spent an hour this morning shoveling, salting and kitty littering with the help of a neighbour to get brandywilliams  out of the hundred yard-long driveway and on her way to her writing retreat this week. She’s been looking forward to it for so long. Once out on the main roads she should be fine. Got chains and salt plus heading to the warmer coast.
